Rescued 04/01/2009

Max (born 9/13/2006) is an owner turn in from a very loving family. The only problem we are aware of with Max is that he has a big problem with chickens. His previous owner states he gets along with all other type animals - cats, goats (she raises goats), and other dogs. She said he does fine in the car (he did great) and fine when she walks him into Petsmart. He did not seem like a pushy Leo. He appears to be a very loving, gentle, sweet Leo.

Max is a really sweet dog. He is polite on the leash, housebroken, looks out the door when he has to go out, loves kids, women, and men. His owner said he likes to sleep on the bed at night and rather sneakily pushes her out with his paws. His other favorite place to sleep is the couch. In the first hour, it was clear he looks to people for support and for petting. He liked everyone he met.
