Max was rescued from a college veterinary school where he very gently taught the students how to draw blood, do physical exams and take X-rays.  During his tenure Max didn't eat well (teachers have a lot of stress) and he was very thin.  Once at his foster home Max started eating LOTS!  He is such a happy boy and now will retire his credentials on 20 acres with his own pond in beautiful Sonoma Ca. where he will live happily as a member of the Johnson family.
