Report 2/23/2009 from "New Mom"

We survived the trip and are getting to know one another. He is such a baby! I have named him, Jem, because I love that book, To Kill a Mockingbird. We are learing new routines and the neighborhood. We will see the vet next Sat. Then, I can start some training.
We spent our first night getting to know each other and snuggling. Even though I have kept on a leash, he did manage to put his front paws on the top of the fence, which immediately got a sound from me, which made him look at me like "okay, I won't do that".

He is checking out his new home, and will be watched carefully. We had a snow storm come in last night, so we can't go out much which is okay, since we need to get used to each other.
